1977 Gibson Les Paul Cherry Sunburst, Serial # 06185825.
Here’s a classic Cherry Sunburst Les Paul Standard from 1977, in pristine shape, playing smoothly, and sounding amazing. This is a good vintage, player grade instrument, with upgraded pickups (all other parts are original). The finish really stands out and is quite eye catching.
The original pickups were taken out and replaced with Gibson ’57 Classics, which are some of the best sounding humbuckers out there. Pots all date to the 1st week of 1977. The bridge is a Nashville-style original, and the tuners, knobs, etc. are also all original. The neck is in great shape and has withstood the test of time. Original frets show modest wear but have plenty of life left. It’s obvious that while this guitar was played, it was not played hard, and was well cared for. We think it lived in a studio, or home, not out on the road being worn down. Considering it’s over 40 years old, this Les Paul is in incredible condition.
It has been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our repair shop. A hardshell case (Gibson, but non-original) is included.
